About the Photographer

  Jonathan van Beek is a New Zealander living in Melbourne, Australia. He moved to Australia in 2002 and first picked up a camera in 2004 during a trip overseas. Since then he has worked with 35mm Film and Digital cameras and also with Medium Format cameras.

  His main source of inspiration is landscape photography, having come from a country made famous by it's pristine landscape, however Jonathan is currently experimenting heavily with fashion and Portrait photography- lending his trademark photographic style to this genre by introducing the same brooding, dark imagery and muted tones that underline much of his landscape work.

  That being said, Jonathan is a keen student of all photography types and experientation is a key part of his work as a photographer. Expect to see more bodies of work, of various genres, being added to this website as he undertakes the various projects he has assigned himself.

 

Sales

  Currently sales are only able to be done via my Red Bubble site. Red Bubble products are finished to high standards however there are some restrictions as to the format and size in which photos can be produced. Please also note that photos are delivered direct from Red Bubble and therefore cannot be signed.
